THE COLLECTOR’S CURIOSITY BOX: EDITION ONE
Here is my little world of odd treasures and studio inspiration. This box has been put together by hand in my studio, alongside my paintings. It’s part artwork, part keepsake, and part treasure chest for anyone drawn to strange, beautiful things.
I made these boxes to share some of the objects I live and work around, and that often find their way into my paintings. My space is full of bones, taxidermy, dried flora, and other unusual bits and pieces that spark ideas and shape the atmosphere I like to work in. The things inside this box connect to the themes that run through my art: transformation, healing, memory, and quiet reflection.
The box itself is part of the artwork, not just a container for what’s inside.
Every object, label, and detail has been designed, chosen, and assembled with care. I wanted it to feel like something half-forgotten and half-kept safe, as though it had been tucked away in an old cabinet of curiosities. Something a little faded, a little peculiar, and full of its own presence.
I’ve only made ten, and each one is slightly different. No two are the same. They’re small, personal glimpses into my studio world and the kinds of objects that feed into the way I make work.
Inside the box, you will find:
An A3 fine art print of your choice on archival paper (29.7 x 42 cm, £50–£70 value) in velvet pouch.
