Known for her conceptual oil portraits, Leah Davis is a Scottish artist drawn to inner worlds and quiet strength. Her symbolic work explores themes of transformation, resilience, and the experience of otherness, shaped by personal narrative and folklore.
Her current body of work, Machair (coming January 2027) marks a return to her home county of Caithness and a deeper exploration of place, memory, and internal displacement through material and myth.
